چکیده

We present a numerical method for simulating the flow induced by bubbles rising at large Reynolds number. This is useful to simulate configurations of dimensions involving great number bubbles. The action that each bubble exerts on liquid modelled as volume source momentum distributed over few mesh-grid elements. in vicinity thus not finely resolved. are treated Lagrangian particles move under influence hydrodynamic force exerted liquid. determination this given requires knowledge undisturbed bubble. A model developed accurately estimate disturbance large-Reynolds-number objects and get rid any spurious self-induced effect. Thanks that, homogeneous swarm simulated. Comparisons with experiments show good agreement scales larger than bubbles, which turn out be controlled interactions between wakes rather independent unresolved smaller scales. can used study coupling bubble-induced agitation large-scale motions, such those produced industrial columns.
